Psychiatric Room is a hospital room which can be built with the players hospital within the Theme Hospital game. This room is where a Doctor specializing in Psychiatry sees his patients.
Only a doctor with a "
" symbol on their record can work in this room. Normal doctors can be trained in a Training Room by a consultant whom is a psychiatrist to become a specialist themselves.
The room itself has three essential items in it; A screen for patients, a long couch for patients to lie down on, and a comfy chair for psychiatrists to use. Additionally, Bookcases and Skeletons may be purchased to add to the room. If a bookcase is present, then the Psychiatrist will use it to source material during treatment.
The room may also be furnished with bins, plants and radiators.
